Guest Lecture on Prevention, Treatment, and Care for Individuals with Substance Use Disorders

The seminar “From Prevention to Care in Substance Use Disorders” took place on May 15, 2025, in Jakarta, with participation from representatives of Vietnam, Indonesia, and UNODC. Training on “Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment” (SBIRT) for Substance Use among Clients on PrEP Program

On December 27, 2024, the Center for Research and Training on Substance Abuse and HIV (CREATA-H), Hanoi Medical University, SHP Clinic (Hanoi Medical University Hospital), and the WeCare Social Enterprise (SE) collaborated with Lighthouse SE Clinic to organize a training workshop titled “Screening, Brief Interventions, and Referral to Treatment for Substance Abuse.”

Training on Treatment Family Intervention for Adolescents with Substance Use Disorders based on the UNFT method

From December 9th to 11th, 2024, the Vietnam International Technology Transfer Center (V-ITTC) at Hanoi Medical University, in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) and the Hanoi Sub-Department of Social Evils Prevention organized a training course on "Treatment Family Intervention for Adolescents with Substance Use Disorders" for 34 trainees from the Hanoi Sub-Department of Social Evils Prevention, Hanoi Medical University, and 07 Drug Rehabilitation Centers in Hanoi.

Nam Health – Sexual health communication program for University students

The Nam Health Program is an initiative within the collaboration framework between the Center for Training and Research on Substance Abuse - HIV at Hanoi Medical University (CREATA-H) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC). Its goal is to promote the use of HIV prevention services at the SHP Clinic (Hanoi Medical University Hospital), aiming to enhance overall knowledge on gender, sexual health, and the importance of sexual intercourse safety. The program provides education on sexual health, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV, skills for working with communities and reaching at-risk individuals, and referral to treatment
